INTRODUCTION TO THE HELIX BRIDGE

Helix Bridge Park is intended to link a chain of collar attractions around the Marina Bay area, including a new art park for young people (the Young Olympic Park) which will be built at the same time.

Located along the Singapore River from the central business district and the bay, the 280-meter long spiral bridge allows pedestrians to walk across the curved bridge from side to side.

Helix Bridge wants to be a softer and more delicate alternative to the strong bridge within the framework of the project. The pedestrian bridge is folded according to the plan to allow pedestrian traffic of cars while allowing pedestrians to connect from one bridge to another in the middle.

Walking along the Helix Bridge offers an impressive view of the city skyline. A wide range of oval windows is enlarged for an optimized experience. At night, the illuminated bridge draws attention to the double helix structure, creating a special visual experience for pedestrians.

ARCHITECTURE BRIDGE HELIX BRIDGE

The bridge is made of special duplex stainless steel, this 280-meter long bridge is capable of supporting up to 16,000 people at the same time. The magnificent bridge is about three stories high, with 2250 meters of steel pipes forming its structure. Because the Helix Bridge was built about 8.8 meters from the water, the boats had no trouble crossing the Marina Bay area. Located near the Benjamin Shares Bridge, Helix forms a curve near Young Olympic Park, Gardens by the Bay and Bayfront Bridge and is surrounded by attractions such as the Esplanade Theater and the Singapore Flyer on one side and the ArtScience Museum and the Grand Marina Bay Sands station on the bridge. What makes Helix Bridge worth a spot on your list of tourist destinations in Singapore is its incredible volume, enchanting beauty, and enchanting views.

Throughout the bridge, four different spiral interior rings are used to provide shade to pedestrians crossing the bridge. Observation platforms are also integrated into the design to give pedestrians a way to enjoy and photograph their views from the Helix Bridge. Each night, the Helix Bridge is lit to provide a beautifully lit walkway that can be enjoyed both day and night.
